The Challenge

The Ocean Spray project is situated right on the Atlantic coastline of The Gambia, presenting a highly demanding architectural environment. The client faced three critical engineering and sourcing pain points:

Extreme Corrosive Environment: Constant exposure to high-humidity, high-salinity marine air accelerates the oxidation and pitting of standard aluminum profiles and hardware.

Structural Integrity against Atlantic Winds: The resort’s expansive oceanfront facades required oversized glass doors and windows to maximize panoramic views, demanding exceptional wind-pressure resistance ($3.0\text{ kPa}+$ load capacity).

Strict Project Timeline & Local Skills Gap: As an overseas project, the developer needed highly precise fabrication and an "easy-to-install" modular system to mitigate the risk of local installation errors.
